What We Treat

Eating disorders are more common than most people know and can be potentially life-threatening. Medical complications are typical during the acute phase of an eating disorder and persist among those not successfully treated leading to a wide range of physical and emotional disorders into early adulthood.
At Toledo Center for Eating Disorders, we know there is hope for those battling eating disorders. We understand the wide range of physical, mental, and emotional issues that can occur with an eating disorder. For this reason, we provide a comprehensive spectrum of services that can dramatically reduce symptoms and medical risks. Our team of diverse professionals build individually tailored recovery plans to meet the complex needs for adolescent males and females 10 years or over and adult men and women in our care. Using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, clients achieve symptom control and learn the coping skills needed to make life changes required to be free of their eating disorder. Recovery is not only possible but also the most likely outcome with the right kind of care.
