Eating Disorder Treatment – What to Expect Prior to Admission?

We are here to help. Contacting us is your first step to recovery. The initial calls with our caring clinical staff will involve asking key questions to gain understanding and agreement about your physical, emotional, spiritual, financial and family/support health needs. We will assess what can help by learning what has worked and what hasn’t worked in the past to determine next step recommendations.

What to Expect on the Day of Admission?

Day of Admission

On the first day of admission, clients meet with members of our intake, dietary, medical, and clinical team. Our admissions team, as well as our clinicians, answer your questions and assist with any additional admission assessments that need completing.

Programming for all clients begins at 11:30 am on the day of admission.

What’s our Approach Treatment?

We acknowledge that our client is the most important member of the treatment team. For that reason, our comprehensive program addresses our client’s specific needs, so they can fully recover, not simply manage their eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Our goal is to provide our clients active, personal treatment. Therefore, in our residential program, we encourage our clients to be free of their personal technology devices, so they may focus on their recovery. Clients in the partial hospitalization program (PHP) may use these items during non-programming hours.

We do allow clients have access to their electronic cigarettes and cigarette smoking in moderation. To assist in promoting healthy lifestyle alternatives for those clients wanting to quit smoking, we provide smoking cessation.
