Paying for Treatment

Toledo Center has agreements with major insurance companies that provide full or partial reimbursement for eating disorder treatment costs; however, we don’t accept Medicare or Medicaid. Additionally, we are proud to be a participating provider in the VA Community Care Network (NPI # 1710033568).

Our in-network insurance providers currently include:

Additionally, we are often able to secure single case agreements with insurance companies that aren’t listed above.

Admissions FAQS

There is no set length of stay for our programs since treatment is individualized to meet the needs of each client. The average length of stay is 6-8 weeks; however, some clients may need more or less treatment depending on their individual presentation.
There are different opinions on this topic, but we know that complete recovery from an eating disorder is possible. However, studies show that the prospect for recovery are greatly reduced without proper treatment. At Toledo Center, we understand the importance of being realistic about recovery and know that it’s a process. We work with each client to understand the underlying issues of their eating disorder and address those issues so they can find freedom.
We treat individuals whose primary diagnosis is their eating disorder. However, many of our clients also struggle with co-occurring disorders such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), to name a few. Our experienced team of professionals works with each client to customize an individual treatment plan that addresses their eating disorder and any co-occurring disorder(s).

At Toledo Center, we treat all genders, ages 10 and older.

Our Admissions Team works with each client, their insurance company, and the Toledo Center clinical staff to determine and recommend the level of care that will be most beneficial for their treatment. We currently offer adult and adolescent residential and partial hospitalization treatment programs.

We encourage family involvement in the treatment process. The type and level of family involvement varies depending on each client’s family circumstances. Family therapy is one of the cornerstones of treatment for clients ages 10-17. From a practical perspective, parents or guardians are legally responsible for their children who are younger than 18 years old and we work with parents to ensure each client’s therapeutic goals are met. Additionally, we offer a Family Education and Coaching Program to empower parents and caregivers to come part of the recovery team for their child.

If you’re ready to take the next step in the eating disorder recovery process for you or your loved one, the compassionate team at Toledo Center is here to help. Give us a call at 419-885-8800 or complete our contact form.
